Fortunately for all, that is not the case anymore. Modern day engineering and manufacturing experts need to have the tools necessary at their fingertips to keep up with limited budgets and shortened design and build schedules. It's no surprise to me that most of the engineering and manufacturing professionals that I work with are constantly looking for ways to ensure that their time is not spent dealing with repetitive configuration settings and administrative tasks that should be managed by the software.
With all of that being said, I thought that I'd attempt to shed some light on customization and standardization with a video that offers a simple work flow for managing and sharing drawing template part files, manufacturing setup template part files, manufacturing operation template part files, tool library data files, and customer default settings files.
