Solid Edge V14 added dramatic new shape design to its already strong solid modeling capabilities. It also continued its enhancement of Insight, adding new function that extends user control and visibility of the process during a product lifecycle. Improvements to the UI, a new Systems Library offering reuse of sets of parts, and drafting improvements to an already industry leading implementation, round out the new version.
